yes didnt do anything but a freeind brought his quad in and a pit bike so we just messed around on that all day in the yard and got paid for it joys of the bosses living at the top of a hill in the middle of nowhere

i got into work this morning in london ok. snowed all day and made the drive home a nightmare! fell at the last hurdle tho and got my car stuck in the carpark outside my house! the snow was past the front bumper on my car

Half of this problem is people not having the ability to drive in the snow. Useless cunts!

Yes i went to work, its only abit of snow ffs. Why does it seem to stop/slow this country down. As when usa have it for example there all ploughing on.

agreed, 10mph on the approach to a snow covered hill isnt going to get you up it, then constantly braking on the way down isnt going to help much either

I was in work, it was fine this morning, got worse through the day as melting ice started refreezing, could feel the van deciding to slide a bit a couple of times but nothing to worry about if you're driving right.

Took a spade with us today just in case and ended up using it twice but it was only to get out of a parking space on a slight incline, probably could've done without but when the back end slid towards the car next to me I thought it best not to take any chances.

Sick of seeing numpties in 4x4s thinking because of the grip they have when pulling off/accelerating they must have the same grip when braking. This morning I saw one driving down a road where I'd felt the van sliding about a bit a few minutes before when I was doing 5-10mph then some knob went passed doing 30 in his 4x4, if the lights ahead would've changed he wouldn't have had a chance of stopping

about 4-5 inches of snow where i am but the main roads are all clear and hill free so no issues getting in

College was closed today, and theres a notice on works website telling all staff/visitors not to come in tomorrow either 'cus there trying to clear the snow. Result
