Bit of a stupid thread really, but basically, my centre caps on my speedlines needs spraying as they were bare metal, so thought id spray them in star silver hoping it would be a similar shade to the alloys themselves.
But the colour has come out quite darker than hoped, so just wondering if anyone knows of a paint i can get from halfords that would be a lighter shade of silver maybe??

Merc or Rover silver is quite light.

They also do aluminium colour for wheels which I did my Puma centre caps in and they came up pretty close to the alloys.

would be a bit of pain taking a wheel in, next time im in halfords ill have alook at the merc and rover silvers. Star silver came out more greyish than anything, and i used the primer recommended.
Just want to get a closer match before i fit my centre cap stickers on
