The MR, he says it needs 'maybe more' for the MOT, which means he's taken it, it's failed on something major and he's taken it off the road and now he wants to get rid because it's obviously a big job to sort it.

No fail sheet or reference to it.

The Celica on the other hand, you can see he's taken it for the MOT and it's failed with a big list, which he's published and I would imagine he'll give you. Obviously too much for him to do but if you're happy to take it on you know what is what.

The Puma had a similar list, brake pipes, caliper seized, few other things, all of which were getting changed anyway.

Yeah just a shame there's not much near you. Just set that search up to save and email you and see what comes up.

Yeah if it'll pass that easy, you have to question why they didn't do it.

Nothing wrong with having a Corsa as a track car. Mine works very well for a 1600 on a very tight budget. Set up right they can be very good fun. IMO of course.

Ignore the doubters.

Stu's Corsa is exceptional and quick on track, trouble is 9 out of 10 Corsa Sports/GSi's need money spending on them before they are good enough to get out on track.

Mine is set up to make it very hard on the rear softish on the front which aids better turn in but does make it quite twitch/light feeling in the bends, but thtas the way I like it with a touch of oversteer.

As ian and ollie have said find in good one to start of with is the big problem as so many have been used and abused and fucked up.
I'm quite lucky in the fact I've owned mine for 9 years and it was totally unmolested and great condition until
3 years ago when I ruined it and turned it into what it is now.

I do think that there are much better cars much cheaper than a corsa straight out of the box.
Me personally I would never bother starting with a corsa, mine just owed me nothing and I will never get rid of it.

As much as it pains me to say,
if a small hatch
a pug 106 or saxo.

You have remember that there is a racing championship called iirc the stock hatch championship run by 750 motor club. And what dominates it and has done for years, yes saxos and 106's.
