Hi there, im wondering if anyone can help me

A friend of mine has got a corsa, and her gearbox keeps chucking it self into sport mode, and vauxhall have picked it up as the selector switch, but vauxhall want 350~ for fitting it.

Someone we know can supply and fit for 65 quid, but we need the gearbox code. So im wondering if anyone can supply us with it? Ill be eternally thankful!

The car is a R Reg, 1.4 8v Automatic.

Right, possible problem. The owner seems to think its a 16v, how could i tell if it was? And would that make a difference

Shouldnt do. According to my haynes corsa's are only fitted with AF13's
