Not sure if this has been posted, the drink driving record was broken over xmas...he drank 15 pints of lager and then attempted to drive home.
"Marcin Ziebacz, 29, gave one of the highest breathalyser readings ever recorded in the UK – with 191 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of his breath – when police pulled him over on December 28."

I don't see how it's broken when in the second link you posted states;
The drunkest driver ever caught in Britain is believed to be Peter Banks, 44, who had 210 micrograms of alcohol in 100 milolitres of breath when he was tested in April 2008. The self-confessed alcoholic was jailed for four months and banned from driving for five years.

My bad, I was reading the first part of the sun article which said he was the worst ever, just added the telegraph article for multiple sources, didn't read the entire thing. Quality sun journalism as always
