Autobahns are an experience, no speed limits on certain parts, if someone flashes you in the fast lane, even if they are far away, you got to move over sharpish as they are on a mission!

I would check to see what they expect you to have in the car, first aid kit is 1, not sure about a fire extinguisher

Where are you going in Germany? It's quite a big place.

Tunnel prices vary between 100-150 for a return ticket.

To get to Nurburgring in Germany and back to Reading I usually do 1000 miles and that includes laps of the track etc and fuel usually costs around 300

Berlin is deep into Germany, a lot further than we go.

Are you driving? Ferry is anything from a tenner to 80 quid return

I did from Innesbruck to my parents near London in a day. Left at 90am, got into my bed at 30am the following day. Took 2.5 tanks of fuel, 8 cans of Red Bull too the cat which cost about £25 and I'll never do that much driving solo again.

Also, I know what country Innesbruck is in, It's just that the majority of the route back is through Germany...
