no you only need spring compressors when your taking the spring off the damper might need a bit of strength though

Fire man sam won't answer his phone tbh........as it was a contract and he never payed and he owed O2 £9569.76 worth of call charges (mainly premium rate calls), the bailiffs came and took his phone and fire engine and kicked him in the face

fuck know's, but im just off now to buy shares in GM fuel tanks.
But really it should be doable but you'll probably need to drop the front subframe & fuck about more than if you used the correct tool for the job.

You will have to put the lower arms down to get the ball joints in so a long metal pole or some strength to get them in. The rest should be pretty easy
