Thing is though there is 5 propertys in total and they are owned by the Church of Wales so not as if they are a private landlord and they are skint in the recession!

i've always wondered about that. surely they can't just turn up with viewers and expect to dhow them around. you still have your rights as a tennant so i guess they would have to organise viewings for when it is convenient with you.

If you're on an AST there'll be a clause to allow access. They should give a minimum of 24h notice but you don't have to keep it immaculate, just clear of shit on the floor etc.

What that says..

You may get lucky and get to stay where you are.. they may put rent up, but if they are going to make a profit on the tennants they have then they may just let the rent be as is.

they may not want to go through the searching process.

my mum was in a rented place before she moved back to Canada, the guy that owned the house was selling up for retirement and was buying properties in Spain and moved there.

They can if the tenants are given notice. Don't worry about cleaning it. Agent will have to apologise and explain it's rented

I doubt you live like some of the slobs whose houses I have to show people round though
