its 1998, 1.4 8v

them pics were took at dusk so it does look a little darker than it actually is

Yea, arden blue looks like this : http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh30/AW_06/HPIM1908.jpg

Easiest way (and to be 100% sure) is to pop the bonnet, and on the vin plate (Not the black one, the colour coded one), in the middle there should be a code.

If its the colour i think it is it should be 28L.

Could spend all day guessing so. If its not 28L, get the code anyway and il find out the colour.

Definitely Atlantis Blue, this is my Arden Blue and it's certainly not that. For one this it's a pearlescent colour whereas yours is solid
