Listed an old plotter sold for £155

listing fee - £1.12
final value fee - £15.49
paypal fee - £5.47

Total sale price £132.92 after fees

14.2% Fees

I always put my phone number on auctions (got a phone specially for it).. That way you get pleanty of offers out side of ebay , then just end the listing if they buy it.. Stick it to the man! lol

it's bollocks.

i phoned the guy up for the puma and bought it that way so he didn't have to pay fee's and i pay less.

i did similar to davey, advertised it sold it to someone who saw it on ebay, then once it went go and edit it the advert and add 'do not accept paypal' in big letters.

if they notice it they take it down and you dont pay

i sold something for 300 i ended up with just over 260 never again will i sell on there

how much would you have sold it for elsewhere?

if less then £133 after fees and paypal then you are still better off using ebay

well obviously someone would have payed £155 for it
