hi all, ive just been offered to buy a company car i use. its an astra sri 1.7cdti on a 06 plate 3door for three thousand pounds. only problem is its done 127.000 miles. its got full vauxhall service history and is well maintained. i know di engines go on for ever but is this the same for the cdti!your views would be a great help as its doing my head over trying to make a decision.

if you have owned it from new and looked after it then go for it
Mine goes back soon but I have given mine a hard life so I dont think i will be buying it unless its a very good price

not bad for 3 thousand pounds, I've sure I've seen them on the market for more with that sort of mileage. If it runs alright and it's had a decent life I don't see why not.

yea it is alright on the price just the mileage thats a let down. ive dun about 40 thousand in it. the bloke who had it before me said he looked after it and its getting another major service next week. all in all its a sound car. might just have to buy it.
