I have been working on my van today after it being sat for many months....on closer inspection the coolant hoses are pressurising and making them balloon slightly. I therefore need to remove the head and get it skimmed and a new headgasket fitted.
A few questions:
Where's cheapest place to get a new headgasket from?
Do I need to use new head bolts?
Any advice on timing the van up after, is it just usual procedure of marking pulley and block?
Any advice is appreciated.
Also with regard to another thread when it wouldn't start, it did turn out to be air in the fuel system and now thats sorted by being towed whilst in gear, turns engine over and removes air itself.

New HG, I'd say eBay.
If doing it on the cheap the old bolts would be fine I'd have thought.

Yeah looked on ebay:
Headgasket set £30 quid ish delivered.
Headbolts £15.
Do the bolts need replacing as apparently they are stretchy bolts? Never used new ones when i replaced head on my VTR and thats been fine. Cheers.

Yeah think i'll change the bolts....just been reading the Haynes manual (just found it) and it seems relatively simple just got to secure the camshaft and crankshaft sprobets with a M6 and M8 bolt, and remove the timing belt.
