Ok mines leaving on x16xe, now i have replaced one on last engine 14.8v, are these staright forwards enough on the 1.6? anyone know where can order one from online, as local halfords need a registration, which I dont have as its a new engine in car, not the original

Easy job? No.
Your need to remove the top part of the inlet, if you have a haynes its all explained?

No I have haynes for previous engine which i can refer to for other parts of car, this engine I don't. Logical answer would be to buy one but im skint and out of cash

only takes a few minutes of minutes to remove the top inlet off then off comes the rocker cover  .
