a lot of aftermarket cams are same spec inlet and exhaust.

question is, is it a real 2.1 (as close to as you can get) or has it had a sligh overbore and owner assumes its gone up 100cc which is the case for most people.

Does it exist? I think so. Whether the engines still in it I don't know. The shell wasn't anything "stripped" or hardcore, but still gave better times 8 years ago, than many XE corsa can today. Great car.

Its had a few new engines since.... Not sure who owns it now though. Know the owner of it after Dave too.

Roy Ritchie i think he's called. Has Roy's Auto Repairs in Arbroath. Bought my van from him. Know's his stuff and was well keen on putting XE's into Corsa's/Nova's

This was when Dave owned it but he did not build it, Roy from Arbroath built the car in his garage. One of the cars i was lucky enough to drive

Roy no longer owns the garage, another guy owns it and is now called Premium Auto Repairs  Roy was the boy i spoke to him every year i went for my MOT at his place.
