If your car got seized for non valid insurance (Lowered without telling them), and also points without telling them.

To pick the car back up, can you just use temp cover? Those day cover things?

It's happened to a mate, and he's getting quotes of 4k+

he could take insurance out, get his cover note faxed over (so he can print it), get the car then cancel the insurance.

Thats what I was thinking. Don't you usually get like 12 days to change your mind?
