i rinse the car with the hose.
wash using the 2 bucket method, megs gold class shampoo and a wash mitt.
microfibre sponge on the wheels.
rinse with hose.
dry with microfibre.

that's it usually.

don't really use anything on the windows/ tyres/ exhaust pipes/ black plastics unless it desperately needs it.
