hi i no nothing about cameras but would like to no how photos like the one below are done please as a would like some taken or are these fx`s added any help cheers

witch means alot a money for a camera to take pics like this ?

A lot of SLRs will do second/rear curtain flash(sync)

Thats a really bad example of rear sync. The same effect can be acheived by setting the camera to a long exposure (1 second) with a fill flash.

You could just about do it on a point and shoot, set the camera to night mode with a flash, as soon as the flash has gone off move the camera. This *should* freeze the image and leave the shutter open long enough to catch light trails.

You may however find that the shutter speed isn't lengthened as the flash compensates it.

i no nothing about takeing pictures at all or the stuff your saying do a need fancy equipment to do this or can a do it with a normal digital cam ?
