Hey guys I'm sure my car has an alarm I have no idea to set it on or off or check it works it has a button inbetween the interior light and a little light under the hazard light switch ??!?! Help please

when you lock the drivers door a full 90 degrees it automatically sets the alarm.
Its called dead-locking as you cant pull the door pins up or anything untill you have unlocked the drivers door.

lock someone in the car and see if it goes off

or lock it as you get into it to stop your gf getting in, then realising you have to turn the ignition on to open the window then put your arm outside to unlock it and then apologise for leaving her in the rain
