Hi,

I asked about this before. I am picking up my new Sxi on Thursday which will have the 16" Sri wheels on it, so I want to paint my calipers to show the wheels up a bit better.

Right first question, the car is Red, so what colour calipers will look good? I'm thinking red or maybe yellow ???

The next thing is what do i paint it with, people before said Hammerite, i've been lookin on the hammerite tin, and it doesn't say anything about being heat resistant? Is it ? Becuase i'd rather brush the paint on than spray,

Any help would be appreciated, cheers

Don't waste your money - get some smooth Hammerite. Same stuff, just cheaper.

Don't paint them yellow if your cars red!

Hammerite Smooth is ideal. Wire brush the calipers to get all the rust off 'em first mind, and apply 3-4 coats of paint.
