No offence intended, but it's a '98 Corsa B. Any mileage you're gonna save on the clock by doing this isn't really gonna make THAT much of a difference.

a screw got into my cigareete lighter and when i tried chargin my phone it blew a fuse stoppin my speedo from workin, didnt think anything of it till i drove down the road and the car would stall on low revs etc and was horrid to drive, as soon as i realised the fuse blew i re-placed it and it was like new again!

mines is also a 1.6 sport, and sod driving it like that all the time, was a pain in the arse!!

Mine did the same thing as Scaron, 1.4 SRi, kept cutting out at low revs was a nightmare trying to drive to work through Central London with stop starting

Oh BTW get a second pair of clocks, stick them in, rack the mileage up on them, then when it comes to MOT/Selling replace old clocks

Cures the speeding fines you will be getting and your engine problem!

Id rather have a speedo and an engine that dosnt stall every time i pull up to a set of lights tbh
