Managed to tickle my gf's old 12v over 100, big hill though, 106 gets 5th limiter on the hill in question, so the poor 12v needs a big hill

Had 100mph out of my old one, that was balls out, anyone who claims much over that is full of shit IMO TBH FTW.

Had my 12v at 95mph. Took ages to get from 93 to 95, had my foot down for a few miles of flat, straight road

116mph against a 106 GTi in a 1.0 12v, I was ahead of him for most of 1st and 2nd gear.

Wasn't much in it really, guess the engine weighs a lot less than his and I've got shorter ratios.
