when i start my car it smokes quite abit iv noticed its white smoke and this goes when i drive. is this normal >>?? it does hv a straight threw exhaust decated too.

common problem valve seals worn or worst case rings, just keep the oil topped up use 15/40 do not use thin oils as this will make it worse. if it gets bad then do the seals and or rings.

thought white smoke is water and blue is oil....
Anyway, i have a decat and i have this in the mornings when its cold. Pretty sure its just water and the fact you have a decat.

If you're not losing water, it'll just be the cold weather.

i am loosing water. ive also got like ratting noise cumming from the engine that shuts up after high revs or more oil is added. only thing is there is now too much oil in there so carnt add any more

stingray is there cream under the oil cap or oil floating in the coolant?

whenmy friend put the head on after stiping the engine he didnt torque it up right so i had to re tighten them aswell.
there is nothing in the coolant but the white smoke used to stop once warm whilst now its not and it gets gradualy worse each day. but it is getting colder.
everytime i start the car when cold it rattles like made and a clunking noise that gets faster when reved but shuts up on high revs. but it didnt do it this morning lol.
any ideas guys

o and the noise is coming formt he cambelt side of the engine. and ive rattled the cambelt cover and it isnt that.
shud it get booked in asap to a garage.
ive already spent a small fortune fixing this car so u recon its time get rid or fix?? on the info given.
