They are not classics. They're just getting a bit long in the tooth now.
They were horrible money new and I remember being desperately unhappy at the prospect of never owning one.
The second hand price knocks the new price into a cocked hat though. Bit like RS 500s (another good example of a heart and bank breaker).
It really is incredible money pro rata based on what you'd get for a GSi 3000 of the same vintage.
