Looking good, what you doing about the washer jet pipe, mines done exactly the same thing. Was gunna just use a pipe joiner, but im tempted to replace the whole lot but looks to be just a tad awkward. Suprising just how rotten the bootlids get, im tempted to get mine resprayed before the rust really sets in...

As i have de-wipered my new boot i was just going to leave it with the Knot in it and not reconnect it. would be easier to use a pipe joiner rather than pull a new pipe all the way through.
This boot is the worst i have seen on any Corsa!

I'm shocked again...... not updated this in a looooooonnnngggg time!
so lets see if i can get this into order,
to start with, i've now cured the running issues, which just so happened to be cured by replacing the Engine Management Light which never went out once it was replaced! anyway various engine parts later and its not skipped a beat. Whilst in the engine bay i thought i'd give it a clean up
From this
to this 50/50
Not bad with the "Freebie" wipes from the Seminar! like these.....
So, next up was to get the boot sprayed.....1st picture of it.... Still hanging being sprayed!
in the process of flattening down
wasnt that great once i finished and got the glass in, but this has improved since then (no pictures yet!)
Then when i thought everything was going well i had smoke coming out from under the bonnet and the car would still run with the Key out!!
Took out various items from where it was smoking and found this....
a rather sorry looking Alarm unit! cables now made safe and a new alarm unit to be sourced.
while i had the scuttle panel out it also looked rather sorry for itself,
So abit of elbow grease and some Gold class trim detailer (version 2!) and a before and after,
Before on the left, after on right.
Will have to sort some pictures out of the boot after my 1st attempt at wet sanding.........

Bit of an update and just to show off my spraying skills on the boot as well!
I have not touched the Corsa for ages, only to wash it until last weekend.
So heres what i have done...
Washed using Megs NXT Wash and Lambswool Washmitt, Microfibre Washmitt for wheels, Verso lock Brush for door shuts.
Dried using Megs Water Magnet
Clayed with Megs Clay and Speed Detailer
Polished with Megs Deep Crystal Step 2 polish
Waxed with Harly Carnubra Wax
Trim Detailed with Megs Ultimate Trim and Dash Restorer
Glass Cleaned inside and out with Megs Glass cleaner
and for the stain on the back of the seat Megs Carpet cleaner.
Looks clean but was still covered in dust and was starting to go pink!
Bird damage!
Dirty Door Shut!
Post Clay Reflections
Hard to see the difference between the red nad pinkness!
Polish 50/50
Post polish and wax reflections
Door Shuts afterwards
Seat before and after
Final pictures.
And a few from my Phone with some arty farty effects!
Evil corsa....
Time taken around 6 hours from start to finish.
Comments welcome!

Not a dig or anything mate just personal preference! i mean i have cav slabs on my car and loads of people hate slabs but i like them! i must admit i didnt use to but a friend kindly guided me in the right direction! i just think some softstars (very similar) or cesaros would set that off a treat

Cheers chris, didnt take it as a dig, just interested to know of any reasons. personally i do like them, i mean they have been on the car since i bought it over 3 years ago!
Shaun, cheers mate, boot aint bad is it for my 1st attempt to spray a panel! think i might have a go at the bonnet next. Yes the Nova is still here, looking very sorry for itself at the mo but i have a plan! it'll be going on its side to weld the floor up then work through what needs doing.

Well on to the next project with the Corsa. So of the Eagle eyed of you may have noticed i have odd seats in the front! well i had to have some brackets made up to fit the buckets seats out of the Nova in to the Corsa, so i managed to fit the Drivers seat but ran out of time to fit the Passenger seat until today!
one Bucket and one Corsa Sport seat.
Some Fun in adjusting the Passenger subframe and......
2 seats the same! Sorry about the xxxx pictures!
Next job,
These,
Door stays and fitting the Tweeters in correctly plus a show tidy up for PVS.

Cheers Fella. i'm slowly sneaking little jobs past the missus. I would love to at least clean the wheels up and sort the Bonnet and wings out with the rust showing.
Anyway, thats jobs for the future. so more jobs for PVS, every since i fitted my Kicker speakers in the front (had some gay JBL crap that failed), i had temp fitted the tweeters to the old mounts using double sided tape......I'd forgotten to take a before picture until half way through, but you get the idea from this..
so i borrowed a punch from work, a 51mm punch and a bit of fiddling about the results!
.
Really need to get the Door stays changed and hopefully give it a top up polish and wax ready for PVS!
