Just knocked this together for my dad today. I'm not very happy with the menu on the left, seems to not quite be there in my opinion. Any ideas?

Yeah i think the menu needs to be abit more "out there" and also how about capital letters on all the headings and links?

Good shout on the capitals. I didn't even try it out as I have a bit of a lower case obsession at the moment.

The content isn't online yet, have you noticed that it's all in Latin

I think there will be your standard gay stock images in with the text once it's all been written up.

Made the menu thinner. Shifted it all to the left a bit. Extended the fade on the main menu. Changed the font of the menu and the titles and underlined the menu items.

I'm happier with it now

If I were you I'd squeeze the address and contact details under the main logo at the top of the page - make them more obvious like.

I'd also loose the 'valid code' and website by bits. Pretty irrelevant to your audience.

Maybe think about loosing some height from the top image too - making it thinner would shorten the whole page and mean less scrolling.
