Never had them before and i must admit i was impressed.. they were done in garlic butter and parsley

went to french restaurant Galvin Bistrot de Luxe on Bakerstreet..

all in for trying new things but kinda drew the line when i saw they have Roast Veal Brains on the Menu.. thats a no go area for me lol

When i had snails i dint think they tasted much diffrent to garlic mushrooms.

Same kind of texture.

Exactly.. sort of same texture as muscles and just tasted of parsley and garlic.. was well nice

when i had them they tasted like soil, so not eaten them since, and no i wasn't 5 and playing in my garden

I like them - not really put off by any food. The only thing I can't take to is raw coconut, really turns my stomach - but I'll eat any animal/insect/seafood etc etc and I have had bull's bollock before in a tomato sauce; it was a tapas dish and tbh, I didn't realise what I'd ordered until this pair of bollocks arrived at the table; wasn't too bad though

when we were snowboarding in January in the French Alps, we went to a Mexican restaurant and had "Steak" Fajitas - only it turned out to be Horse meat - I didn't mind it, bit of an aquired taste as its texture is like beef but taste's like the smell of a horse if that makes sense
