Quick question: Whats the paint that you put on rust that makes it go hard and you can they sand and primer it etc after?

If there was a pint that stopped rust, it would be put on at fac tory. I have used the above Kurust, found it pretty good, removes rust, but they only way to 100% get rid of it it to chop out the panel, everything else delays the process

There is rust paint stuff from factory, its called the E-coat

Cars are treated wit zinc and some are galvanised from the factory, the problem is it gets scratched/damaged and the rust sets in.

The zinc in the E-Coat does a fairly good job of providing sacrificial protection though. If you see a modern car with bubbling paint, it will more than likely be zinc oxide underneath as opposed to rust. Not sure if that's good or bad though
