Well two weeks ago me and the g/f got this wee little beast seeing as our old 1.2 8v lost the fight against its long battle with rust

got a ok deal on it, its a 97 reg 1.6 sport fairly high mileage on it at 143k, but its been looked after. for £500, it needed a new petrol tank (supplied by the old dead 8v) and a couple of other bits cleaning up on it.

at the weekend i fitted c/c door handles, debadged grill and the petrol tank, (no pics yet as its dark)

Plans are to

refurb the wheels black or ford moonland gray as they are really shoddy atm
lower it
some sort of skirts
c/c boot handle
cally leather
electric sunroof
led dash kit
and a 3 ish inch backbox.
DIY the depos
and get some smoked rears

Your plans sound spot on, but how much are you looking to lower? And don't spoil it with some lairy aftermarket skirts that wouldn't look out of place on the Starship Enterprise.

Dont worry ive been on CS for far to long and ive been brainwashed by the subtle look corsa

will be looking for some gsi skirts or something of the like and will also be looking at around a 50mm drop as the roads are rubbish round here and i do alot of miles so dont want the ride to be to harsh

Right small update,

pics of c/c door handles make such a big difference to the look of the car

badless grill looks 100% better (cheers davieslim) (ps please excuse the sticker on the front it will be coming off soon)

decided to make a start on the boot handle, ive never liked the facelift boot handle that doesnt have the recess but never liked the old style vaux badge in it, so got hold of an old style boot handle and butchered a new(ish) vaux badge

this is the outcome

all i need to do now is spray the griffin black and stick it on

edit

in the last pic it looks like it isnt sprayed that well but for some reason my camera makes it look shit

well looks like i wil have to put up with the non recess one as the pre face lift ones are smaller, looks ok on the car but it doesnt look right all that work for nothing
