Looking for a new phone on o2, needs to be good for internet, have a decent camera and not cost more than £40 a month.

Can't decide if I should pay the extra and have a Blackberry or iPhone or stick with a Sony Ericsson W995 or something else.

Help?

I've had them for years and had no problems, then switched to a Samsung and it's terrible.

What would you suggest Jambo?

I'd go for the iPhone, it just works. I like it, have no complaints about the phone itself. The contracts and phone pricing is a bit of a con though.

Well it depends what you want it for really Robin. Sony Ericssons reliability is absoloutely diabolical, they are by far the most returned phones we sell, and have been in a good 18months.

Samsung are a waste of time.

If you want a media device the iPhone has most stuff going for it, the camera is not as good as some of the rivals and i personally cant get on with the txting. Its fine to use on web etc, but for someone who sends 2000 texts a month i find it a pita.

Its also expensive.

Only get a Blackberry if you want/need email.

Ive just got a Sony Ericsson Satio and in 2days its already crashed a few times and turned itself on and off and sometimes cant keep up with simple inputs. The camera is superb though, and was the best phone I could get for my contract for free which is £20 per month 200 anytime any network mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet and phone insurance included. Which is a superb deal although I did want a N900, but couldnt get a deal as good as this anywhere.

Ive got the W995, and had to send my first one back as the wallpaper kept going back to a blank screen, and when I went to go to my photos it wouldnt let me click onto them. Got my 2nd W995 and it's a newer one than my old one as it's got an App Store. .

That's with Orange.
