Hi all,
Basically i put a 1.6 8v nova gsi engine into my corsa, i used a loom from an astra 1.6
its all wired up and running fine, when i put my foot down it lags and judders if i ease off the throttle and start again its ok, any ideas as its annoying

Also there is one wire i havent connected up near the ecu its black / brown
i cant seem to find another one from the ecu to connect it to

aren't you getting a EML light come on?...or is the wire you have left unplugged something to do with the EML?

but yer, if it feels underpowered it might be fuelling. Did you strip the engine and rebuild all gaskets (at least) before plonking it in?

all was rebuilt, compression rating is 8.2
eml is flashing no codes

all the ecu is wired in correctly
there is no afm on the c16se ( astra loom )

as for fueling, im running a mpi pump from a corsa sport so that should be ok

my old corsa 1.6 8v had no go but it was nippy as hell much better than my 1.6 16v now but thats alot quicker
