basically im in two minds weather to go with my smooth doors, and shell out another hundred on a solenoid kit..or get a passenger door for 25 quid and leave the handles in...tbh im sick of opening the pass door on the inside all the time anyway
but will the handles spoil the smoothed look

I had smoothed off door handles. They looked great with the van with its look imo. On a practical note they were reliable, but you need to have a back up way of getting in if, say, you go on holiday and the battery goes flat.

I had a pair of wires from the door solenoid tucked away where only i knew.
And i got good at breaking into it when i left the keys in the ignition!
