Just wondering what you all use to convert music from an cd to an mp3 format?

prefer a downloadable program i can use (preferably not windows media player!

Any help much appriciated

I use itunes, but i'm on a mac so it actually works, itunes on a pc is shite in my opinion.
On a pc I used to have winamp and crack it.
