Recently did a rebuild on my mates clio williams 2 after his cam belt went.
Head skimmed, valves, all seals and gasgets, new lifters, CAT Cams, Vernier pulleys.
and while the engine was out we cleaned up the bay and powder coated a few bits (subframe, mounts)
the finished bay:

how it did:
Overall im happy with the result, it still needs to be mapped and really need to raise the rev limiter as it was still climbing. its running a bit rich, but i think that should get sorted when the chip is programmed.

i took it for a spirited drive on the way to Hayes Engineering in Erith, and it handles so well, can absolutely abuse it round corners and roundabouts and it just sticks. power does seem very tame compared to my xe tigra though.

Its because its more linear and power is higher up the rev range I guess.
My Clio feels real tame compared to the Corsa.
