I like M195 ARK but its a pretty penny but cheap for what it is imo.
what are you tring to spell with that?
if its Mark then sorry but it doesnt really and also as been said, it just looks like a normall plate, i think ones with 3 numbers unless its obvious what there spelling just look like normall plates.

I agree with that, ones with 3 numbers, unless its completely obvious its saying something, they are pointless. Woman at my local docs, called Sarah, has DR 54RAH, quite cool for a Dr Sarah
Speaking of plates and been made offers, a chinese taxi driver beeped at me in the traffic on friday on my way home, asking if the plate was for sale i just said no, not for sale, and off he went.

Does anyone know where I can do a trace on plate?
I have D4MO B but I wouldn't mind D41MO B as well. It was on a normal road car last I knew of. Would love that plate!

I think the first thing to do is check the motor insurance database to see if it's being used. If not, check the auctions and DVLA website.

Nahh its not on the MID.
As it was a normal plate on a normal car, I that'll mean its been scrapped or binned. Doubt its on any auction sites.
Bummer.

I bought mine as a possible investment, I had money that would have just wittled away in the scheme of things so thought I'd buy something that I might be able to sell for more in the future. THe thinking was they are only going to get rarer. It's on ebay at the moment for £849. but I'd take 650 what it owes me as i'd rather have the money at the minute than a piece of paper saying I own a reg. If it was fully legal (ie no bolt in the G to make a C)i'd be more inclined to keep it. I always just had the front more illegal than the back and had no trouble, but then again I never went driving around aimlessly etc)

Think my parents payed £250 for mine for my 18th birthday - M18 PRY
Edit: and I wouldn't pay much more for one tbh, especially when you have to change it over everytime you buy a new car. I'm going to have to pay out to change it onto the Corsa next week!

Forgot to say the banter has been top notch, kinda worth it for that. Although if I never sell it i'm calling my son Garrl, 21st birthday is sorted then.

Seen one for mine but is £833 all in not sure if its worth spending that but is the only one that i can find thats decent.
Mine was eight hundred quid.
Only reasons i've got it was because it was an extravagant birthday gift and it was approriate to me and the brand new car it went on, that I intend to keep.
