I have about 5 MD's with aload of songs on them which I want to get off to put them onto my MP3 player. When trying to upload them onto my library it says..
Unable to transfer the following tracks to My Library becuase they are recorded by Net MD or another computer.
Any ideas? I asked my bro, as he knows more than me, but says its to do with copyright and I can't do it. I desperatly want the songs off them.. Anyone able to help?

Yup, Sony only allowed so many transfers/copy. Easiest solution would be to take the audio output and rerecord.

Get jack to jack (male 3.5mm to male 3.5mm), take the headphone output from the minidisc plug it into the mic input on your computer. Then get some audio software, something like Adobe Audition or Audacity, create a new Wave file (44KHz @ 16bit), press record in the audio editor and press play on the minidisc. Then once you have all the songs, split the Wave file up into individual tracks and then compress to mp3/acc/flac accordingly.
