will an engine from a mk1 clio or from a renualt 5 gt turbo fit straight into a mk2 2002 upwards clio ?? please help i neeed to get an engine asap !

anything will fit if you can fabricate
the wiring will be completly different
just buy the engine you should have in

yeh r5 gt turbo engines are the same as a 1.4 8v mrk 1 or 2 clio just without the turbo, one of my mates has turbo'd his 1.4 8v clio mrk2 i think he's running same inturnals and the loom from a r5 gt turbo. hope this helps pal.

if i wanted the same engine i would get the same. wana fit a 1.8 16v or r5 turbo. so u reckon it will just slot straight in then ?
