Also happens to non modified vxr's, crap engine design aparently. Cold oil squirting onto a hot piston as its the last piston to receive the coolant causing cracks etc etc (mist of oil would be better than a squirt)
Some Corsa Vxr's are lucky to not have any problems. Others eat wheels bearings every 10k at £250 ish a pop to replace
They are poop full stop.
