I bought a wash mitt and few microfibres from Rich_H on here(amazing service)
Have used them, and the car has come up great, but how do I clean these? as obviously (especially wash mit) is covered in dirt that was on the car. washing machine ok?

You can wash the cloths at 90C with a non-bio gel tab thing but I think mitts need washing at 40C.

Mitt - wash out under tap by hand and leave to drip dry on washing line if possible. If not, machine wash on lowest possible setting.

MF's - non bio liquid / gel at 60 or 90 degrees, no fabric softner.

I reckon my dad's washed his with the wrong stuff at some point as they're rough as anything.

Also, I told him to use an MF instead of chamois. What does he do? Chamoises the car off then MF's it

i use the sonus MF wash stuff for cleaning cleaning stuff.

Depends whether it is non-biological or biological. You want non-biological. If you don't have that (it's not the normal stuff you use 9 times out of 10) then you can get a tub of a few (mine had 10 iirc) gel tab things for a couple of quid.

You might find that tumble drying them helps too, if you leave them to air dry they tend to go a bit stiff and scratchy.
