Last night the drivers side handbrake cable snapped on the pug. So since its sunday and they are open i thought i would run done and just get it done by them since its only a half hour job or so.
But guess what? They wanted £72 to do it
The cable only costs £10 so they are trying to charge £60 an hour labour. Think that is rediculious. Most garages my way are £25 - £30 labour.
Rant over

But like you said , its a Sunday and you really need t done.
The garages at £30 ph arent open sundays but if they were theyd cost more

Probably because its a national company with more overheads to pay.
If you went to any independant garage it would probably be a few quid cheaper.
Or even if you are handy with the spanners you could do it yourself.

It takes 10 mins to fit a handbrake cable on a 106 with disks on the back if its up on a ramp.
