Hi
Looking at changing the colour of my interior door pillars from that horrible creamy plastic to just plan black by spraying them. just after abit of advise with people who have done it before and hard is it to get them off? (all in interior plastic bits leading up to the roof line)
ano people have wrapped them in swade, but im looking to just paint them

Painted mine, easy, cleaned them with white sprit, dried and then sprayed them with some matt black.
Not that hard to remove, haynes manual is your friend.

Took it out, Sprayed it black using normal matt black rattle cans.
Simple as really. One of the best mods ive ever done imo.

it doesent look sprayed good effect, on the pillars did u use plastic primer?

Depends on what you want to spent, I would personally recover them with material, suede, leatch, vinyl, same with the roof lining.

Didnt bother with plastic primer on the trims, If it starts to crack i might, but seems fine so far.

I've done the same as AW06 and got the same great finish, I did use plastic primer on the plastics as I have experienced the matt black flaking before.
The roof lining my look slightly patchy in places outside the car but when inside it is perfect. Don't for get to do all the little clips etc.
