I'm kind of confused and don't know how to put this so sorry if it sounds complicated then it actually is.

My renewal is due in May, but I'm thinking about swapping my car for another car, what I'm trying to find out is, will my insurance still be up for renweal (in May) or will it be a new policy from when I get the new car?

Help please?

If your just swapping the car over it will still run out in may.

Your policy will still expire at the same time (may) but when you inform your insurers of the vehicle change they may bump your premium slightly for the remainder of the term (or lower it depending on the new vehicle)

I can shop around then, so it's not too bad, hopefully its a mk3 astra.
