Got it yest. I played Goldeneye on the n64 but never Perfect Dark apart from some split screen at my mates, forgot the aiming is like timesplitters! Looking forward to doing the single player in co-op. Got absolutely trashed in the death match I tried online however!

I see your laptop gun, and raise you a fly-by-wire slayer missile!
Missed this game so much
Elvis wasn't as bad as Oddjob, at least they gave him a massive head for easier kills to offset the shortness...

They need to release more N64 games on XBLA, its does seem to be all the old Rare games they are releasing though?

I dont think they will do Goldeneye now they have done Perfect Dark. Plus i think they would have issues with licencing etc as it was official game i think and they used the actors faces.
I used to like Blast Corps and Bodyharvest

Microsoft owns Rare now, so thats why there are a lot of their games on XBLA.

Microsoft was going to bring Goldeneye out on XBLA, and if you look on youtube you will find some prototype versions bening played by developers.
But it wasn't the movie makers that stopped the game going to Xbox, it was Nintendo. Because Golden eye was an N64 exclusive, Nintendo had a major say in it, and last i heard, they wanted to make it a DLC for the Wii

Goldeneye Xbox is finished but will never likely see the light of day.
The idea was that MS would have the XBLA version and Nintendo brought out the original as DLC.
But they couldn't agree, and non-one knows the specifics, but in effect they both scuppered each other's plans because they both wanted it all.

Yeah, but Microsoft owns the Perfect Dark franchise which is why the sequel Perfect Dark Zero was on the 360 and not the game cube, like was originally meant to be, when announced in 2002.
Plus i think Luciaadr is right. I'm sure i read somewhere that Nintendo just wanted too much money for the Goldeneye rights, and wanted for themselves for the Wii.
