best 2 things you'll ever spend on it mate

tempted to shop it for something else, but after a remap I may wanna keep it for a bit.
also need to sort out a weird boost problem that I occasionally get at high revs and speed.

nah, it's something else. I had coilpack problems before so changed them all for new ones.

usually happens at silly speeds. will get hesitation. i'll check for codes again with vagcom.

Old Corsa with 8k

As Lee says, way too blue and chavvy, yet in projectors they seem to look less blue.

So this time i went for 6k

New Corsa with 6k

Much better imo, still slightly blue, so if bulbs go, i think ill get 4300k.

I got mine from Alltronix Ltd off ebay, if you look through their listings you can find slim ballast ones for less than £60 posted! UK seller (based in Worksop, Notts) and has a 1year warrenty

Just ordered a 4300k kit from them, cheers

He's one of the best sellers on eBay tbh, I ordered a kit for a mate, it turned up and he had put the wrong ballasts in by mistake, so asked me to send them back and he sent me money to cover the postage charges! Never had that from any other sellers!

Ah nice one, I thought there was earths that needed bolted on etc. Suppose all there is to do is bolt on the ballast to the car.

Strange mine are marked 8k and certainly not overly blue in colour . have past the last three mots and never had any police attention, as I say you can see the blue in them but certainly not overly blue.

always surprised when I here others say dont go for 8k because off this ??!!

Okay thanks so I am not alone then !!

sometimes wondered if mine had been wrongly labelled as again heard so many say dont go for 8k there are too blue and again mine are deffinatly not. but had to get one off the bulbs replaced under warranty and matched the otehr perfectly so must be 8k !!!

surprised at the corsa pictured earlier on in this thread deffinatly dont look the same as the 8k HID on mine !!
