I work at raf leuchars on the tornado's holding northern quick reaction alert we get a scramble at least once a month easy it just doesnt get media attention.
The only reason this is in the press is because of the upcoming elections and the fact northern qra is operating from lossiemouth instead of leuchars due to the runway getting resurfaced.....again.
