hi ive been working out for about 2 weeks now,3-4 times a week for 30-40mins.i do bench press and dumbell and barbell curls i use a rotating method.ive noticed my biceps dont really hurt like my triceps shoulders and pecs do,i know this is quite common and i will try harder when ive recovered.the thing i want to know is my arms are more tense the day after including my biceps so does this mean theyve still had a good workout even though they are not sore.also im right handed and my right arm feels harder, with good technique will my left catch up.thanks

My muscles never normally ache and i always have a great workout, lift and lift and lift keep upping the weight until i cant lift anymore. Make sure you do good stretches before and after and eat lots of protein..

You'd be better off having a banana before you train, keep your protien shakes for post-work out. Eat real food the rest of the time.

Good thing to eat any time you want really! Just saying protien before training isn't gonna make you train better ..!

i'd say concentrate more on pre workout nutrition aswell. Your muscles will need nutrients during and immediately after the workout. just having a protein shake post workout will mean it wont have the nutrients for another 20-30mins
