came out nice gun finish, got to rub the other side down before i can spray it up..anyone no if the vents i have removed actually have a purpose?

yes definitely.
the new focus rs looks good in white with the panther black bits so that should look great.

dont worry about the vents, will be fine, its not a completly sealed compartment

cheers mate, not sure what else to do black if i keep this, maybe a black roof as it has a black tinted sun roof?

Yeah it will still get some air, just not as much.
It may well affect de-misting the windscreen, it depends on how easily it will be able to get air from outside, I'm not sure!
