Last night I woke up at 2am to the sound of bang , laughter , bang , more laughter .... so I looked out the window to see 2 guys laughing at at 3rd guy repeatedly hitting the front of my car with his while trying to park his car into a space that was clearly too small for his car to fit in.

I confronted the three clowns & flipped my lid.

anyway end result was all three denying all knowledge and refusing to give me any details.
I took photo's of the numberplate, said car jammed in the space and damage to my bumper (clips broke)
I also reported it to the police and my insurance.

Where do I stand in this??

the car is insured and my insurance seem to be optimistic. the police told me that he could be facing up to £5k fine. but I'm a little worried as the clown driving has two mates who will obviously deny the claims and I don't have any witnesses

his mates aren't independant witnesses and are therefore redundant.

i wouldn't worry about them.

I hope so .... it took every ounce of self control in me to do it the right way and not to simply cave the idiots head in with a claw hammer (which was my 1st instinct)

As ben said, the lads mates were directly involved in the incident and consequently can't be considered independant witnesses. No worries
