Without going to the effort of getting a HID Kit.

Cheers!

Forgett spending £20 on a set off white bulbs which will evetually fail, spend an extra £30 on top off this and get yourself a set off 4k HID lights, you will get intense pure white light , bulbs that last for ever - well nearly !! and can gurantee it will be one off the best value for money mods you have done on your car.

Read the opening sentence, but I must admit, I agree totally with jono. Easily better than messing about with bulbs! Nowhere near as bright.
They can be a pain to fit sometimes I know, but once they're fitted and working, you won't regret it!
The (4300/4600.. Can't remember which it is) gives a bright white light.

I'm normally an HID fan boy, but went from 6k H4's in my B to the RingSportz bulbs and the output on dipped is brighter from the HIDs but more scattered so not so good. Main beam on HIDs is awful compared to the Ring bulbs. That's in smoked Depo's.
All my other vehicles I've had HIDs in I've preferred them.

i bought some ''xenon headlight bulbs'' off ebay for a fiver which lasted a year in my fiesta and have been fine in the puma so far.
for a HID kit to be cost effective, i'd need to buy over 10 sets of these bulbs for on set of HID's.
that's basically over 10 years worth at the very least...

I got some Philips Extreme Power or something along those lines, they're pretty white and better than the old bulbs, but at £30 a pair they're not exactly cheap

Yeah rich, all bulbs in depos are pants. I think it's cause of the beam diffuser things that blocks half of the light. Valeo lights don't have them in, making bulbs brighter in them.
