Right lads and ladies,

I have a problem with my MP3s, at the moment i download MP3s and write them to disk and play in my car with no probs at all, so there is no problem with the software i use writing to the disk.

The problem is when i take a normal .WAV file and use 'Easy CD Creator' to compress the format to MP3, it saves to my harddrive and i write it to CD from there. Then when i put it in my car all of the tunes keep cutting out, like there are gaps in there. They only last a mili-second but are noticeable and ruins my tunes.

What could it be guys, help would be appriciated.

Cheers.

If that prog doesnt work make sure it is closing the disc and not just the session.

You can set this in one of the menu's in Easy CD Creator.

If its only closing the session you will get stuttered playback.

Cheers for the reply mate but as i said above i write downloaded mp3 discs all the time with no problems, it's just the tracks i convert to mp3. Also my cd player reads CDR CDRW and the CDRW cds don't get completly closed i think which means it probably would be that anyhow.

Cheers

if the cdr session isn't closed, the cd won't play - I have that prob on Easy cd creator too - Its a bollocks of a job on mix cd's, use a diffo program - Like maybe Nero.

like keep saying, it's about the compression of a .wav file not writing the cd.

I know you are trying to help though, thanks.
