right so a long due update:

i got the 3.0 in timed up, soldered my speedo drive wires back together, now i got given this engine and had little or no faith of it actually working, so with a few friends watching it was shit or bust,

It fired up first turn of the key....happy fucking days

decided to paint a few little bits in satin black and took it for a road test

then after some thinking on what to do next, me and a few mates where talking and spur of the moment i decided to get it ready to paint it, no idea on what colour i was going to go....

then the next day i was talking to my friend and a colour was decided.....

should get some more piccies when i get it home, the wheels are going high gloss black like the roof and cage,

next up is a flocked dash, interior carpeted,rs tuning map, tax,mot and some abuse on the road

Well finally got the corsa home from paint, didnt really want to drive it because the weather was so crap, but glad i did because it un-earthed a few teething problems,

just thought id post some piccies of it now ive given a wash, plans left are sort the little problems out, order a grill badge, get the tracking done, replace a cv gator, chuck some mesh in the morretes, fit the drivers arch and passenger seat,i think that may be it

comments welcome good and bad

Well i bought this last may, and had it all the way up till last month where it met a early dimise with a sign post

so with it being in to good condition just to let the insurance company right it off ive decided to repair it

When i bought it

after it kissed the sign....

stripped the damaged items off....

good news is it drives straight

LOL

list of new parts to be sourced...

Facelift front wings
facelift head lights
facelift front bumper
facelift slam panel
facelift xp front splitter
facelift bonnet
subframe
airbag steering wheel

Parts sourced...
Vxr 19" alloys
sri rear bumper
sri colour coded skirts
sri back box
jamex coilovers

not in no rush to get this back on the road, so again this will be updated as and when
